Food glorious food!

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016

In Turtle class we’ve made a great start to our new topic, ‘Food’. First we looked at a map of the Isle of Wight to find out where different local foods are produced. We stuck on pictures to show that tomatoes are grown in Arreton and garlic is grown in Newchurch. Next we had to wash our hands really carefully, before starting to cook. We cut up lots of fruit, then added milk from Briddlesford Farm to make strawberry and banana milkshake. Some of us thought it was yummy and some thought it was yucky! Angel and Ben enjoyed dipping their fingers in to find out what the milkshake felt like.
