The class have been busy with lots of activities. We took part in world celebration day where the children were given passports to travel all around the world to discover different types of traditions from each country. They varied from art, making flags, decorating gingerbread houses and writing letters to Santa!

We also had a mufti day to raise money for Children in Need. Some of the children dressed in fancy dress and we had super hero`s, princess`s, minions and even a policeman. In the afternoon we all watched a movie in the gym complete with popcorn.

In literacy we have started our new story, The Tiger Who Came To Tea. The children have enjoyed using descriptive words for the characters and will soon be writing their own version of the story.

In maths they have been learning about measurement, capacity  and size.

PE is focused on dance which ties in nicely with our Christmas play performance which we have been practising hard for and I`m sure you are all looking forward to watching it soon.
