Chatter Boxes in Coral Class

Thursday, January 18th, 2018

Last weekend in Coral class the children each took home a small suitcase to fill with objects of reference relating to their weekend. The aim of the suitcase was to promote communication between the child and adults regarding their weekend or things of interest. On Monday morning the children individually spent time with an adult looking and talking about their suitcase. It was great to see the children’s responses to the items they had.

These cases are going to be sent home throughout the school year, however if parents/carers are going on special outing or trips please feel free to ask a member of Coral class team for a chatter case so we can use these experiences to help assist your child with their communication.
