Coral Class on Tour for Walk the Wight!

Wednesday, May 16th, 2018

Today Coral had such a wonderful time doing Walk the Wight with the big school children. We left school at 9.15 with a bag packed with our drinks and snacks and headed to Medina Arboretum. We were joined by Shelia and Julia who are governors in the school. We had such a lovely time along the way. Charlie enjoyed exploring a dandelion, we all had fun using our big voices to shout in the tunnel, we saw boats and ducks, smelt blossom on trees and mingled with our big school friends. Once we got to the Arboretum, we set up our snack stop and enjoyed yummy treats, Juliette had brought some shortbread biscuits which Isabella particularly enjoyed along with party rings and yummy crisps!Julie joined us for a yummy treat too.  After our snack a few of us set out about exploring this new place and were delighted to run in the long grass, throw leaves and find even more dandelions! On the way back Lola decided she’d like to walk and walked beautifully with Jackie whilst having a good sing song.

We have had a lovely morning taking in the big wide world as well as raising money for such a fantastic cause. Thank you to those who donated.
