Seal class adventures out

Monday, May 20th, 2019

On Wednesday Seal class and two friends from Seashell class visited Carisbrooke Castle. They had an informative talk about the history of the castle from Estelle, but most fun was had trying on all the clothing that would have been worn in that era. We had maids and Kings and Soldiers in battle. It was a lovely sunny day so we walked around the gardens or around the top of the castle looking at the views across Carisbrooke.

We were also lucky to meet the donkeys who were being groomed and feed, after our snack too we returned back to school. The feedback from the children was they wish they could have stayed longer and explore more.  It was a great day had by all.
