About Medina House School
Medina House has strong links with the neighbourhood primary school and community and also provides an Outreach Support Service to mainstream schools, developing inclusive practice for individual children with a range of special needs.
As well as all the usual facilities that you find in schools on the Island, Medina House has many specialist facilities, including a splash pool, sensory garden, outdoor classroom, speech and language therapy room, a room for medicals, spacious gym and separate dining hall, a white room and a dark room; specialist information technology equipment (ICT) , a hydrotherapy/swimming pool and a soft play room.
We also have two mini-buses that are used throughout the school week to take
children on a range of enrichment visits that support their learning and to ensure that children begin to understand the community in which they live and how to behave in the most appropriate way when out and about in their community.
