The children love to sit and look at books or participate in mark making activities – what a clever bunch of children we have!  

This week we have been participating in a variety of Harvest activities. The children helped to put together our food box. We explored pumpkins. We collected leaves to make crowns for our Harvest breakfast celebration. We also baked bread rolls.  

This week we have been participating in RE week at school. We have been learning about ‘giving’. In the photos the children were giving gifts to their friends.

Last week Penguins did a walk for Sport Relief. Some of us walked 2 whole laps around the field in Medina Cottage. We’ve had lots of fun remembering the good cause. Each and every Penguin was just amazing.

This term at Forest School Penguin Class have been learning to use a variety of tools safely. They were fantastic at chopping and sawing wood.

During cooking the children made piggy bagels. We started by spreading jam over the bagels and then added berries. The children were fantastic at using their knives to spread the jam and some even had a try of their bagels.
