Our Improvement Priorities
Our school development is a collaborative process with all stakeholders encouraged to engage with this process. Our School Development and Improvement Plan (SDiP) is for the next three academic years. Our school improvement journey over this time is focusing on four main areas of development;
– Literacy (Reading, Communication and Handwriting)
– Continued Professional Development and training
– Behaviour and Attitudes
– ICT infrastructure and experience
This document is treated as ‘live’ and may have changes made to content, dates etc but key stakeholders will always be made aware of these ahead of time.
Through quality assurance monitoring, the headteacher and leadership team identify our school improvement focus and what success looks like in each of the four areas. Driving school leaders and supporting teachers (UPS) then devise the specific actions, timescales and evidence base. This approach is not intended to restrict teachers’ professional capital and there is recognition that there are natural crossovers and opportunities to work closely and collaboratively in more than one development area.
