Medina House School is a community special school, with spaces for 138 boys and girls school aged 4 to 11. All the pupils who attend are directed to the school by the Isle of Wight Special Educational Needs Team and have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which summarises assessments for education, medical and psychological.

Criteria for Admission

Pupils will have complex learning difficulties often in association with other needs or conditions and with varying needs of complexity such as:

–  Speech and language disorder, impairment or delay
–  Physical disabilities
–  Autistic Spectrum Conditions
–  Hearing impairment
–  Visual impairment
–  Behavioural challenges
